One On One Yoga

Our personal yoga clients come from all walks of life, each with different goals and aims in mind. But one thing everyone believes is that they have a "lack of time".

Yoga once a week is definately a starting point. It is great to get the bits that are stuck moving again. However to reap the great benefits, yoga needs to become a part of your life.  This does not mean becoming a yogi, neither does it require hours practicing each day.  All we ask is to remind yourself throughout the day that you should breathe properly, have a joint friendly posture and to notice your state of mind.

My One on One encourages you to practise at least 10 minutes of yoga 5 days a week. This is a requirement to become a student with me while I take on the responsibility to make it an enjoyable and rewarding time, making it easy to stick to a routine.  We hope you might even want to do a little bit extra each and every day.

Outline of your Private Yoga Sessions in Glasgow

Session 1

I get to know you and we set your goals and visit your limitations.

Session 2 - 5

We define goals for your home practise. You will be personally introduced to your practise and we make sure you feel every instruction, so you can go home with confidence and practise aspects of our sessions. We work on a totally personalised easy guide to do Your Yoga at home.

This is a great opportunity to check your alignment in the postures and ensure that you are using the correct techniques.

Session 5-10

We will work on more variety for your practise, still focusing on your primary goal. You will already have experienced improvement and setbacks in your home practise. Adjustments and recommendations will be made. Any specific questions will be addressed.

Regular practice 1 or 2 times a week

This is the best solution for people prefering guidance and needing the motivation to stick to a regime. It is like a personal trainer, who keeps track of your progress and provides you with the motivation needed to make Yoga part of your lifestyle.
